Kevin Townsend is a 30-year veteran of the Entertainment and Content industries. A leading creative & development executive, he spent almost a decade as a key member of George Lucas's management team at Industrial Light & Magic and ILM's parent company, Lucas Digital.

He has worked with leading directors and screenwriters such as Shekhar Kapur, Simon West, Matthew Faulk & Mark Skeet to develop a compelling slate of upcoming projects. Presently he is Producing “Mallory”, a historical bio-pic on the life of English explorer and folk-hero George Mallory who died on Mt. Everest after a heroic summit attempt in 1924, and “Backstory” an anthology television series revolving around the music industry.

Most recently he has been commissioned to write the original screenplay “Hive” for Sentient and StudioCanal.
